AFTER EFFECTS FOR BEGINNERS (4K)

  • Duration: 2h15
  • Videos: 13

Learn the basics of Adobe After Effects. This course goes over everything you need to know to understand how the program works, from the interface to rendering a video.

Learn how to use After Effects and create amazing high quality timelapse videos!

Adobe After Effects is one of the most important software when it comes to creating high quality timelapse videos. Along with LRTimelapse and Lightroom, it is today an important part of my workflow. Since After Effects is a visual effects, motion graphics and compositing software, and not an editing program, it might be a little tricky to get started.

Rendering a video, removing unwanted elements, stabilizing a shaky timelapse, cleaning the grain, adding sharpness, removing blurry frames… After Effects offers some incredible tools that will raise the quality of your timelapse videos in a few minutes only. But if you don’t know how to use it properly, this can be a very frustrating process!

That is the reason why I created this course, “After Effects for Beginners“. In the next 2 hours, you are going to learn everything you need to know to use the software properly and feel comfortable with it. I will go over the entire user interface, how to import a raw sequence, how to use effects and presets, how to create templates, how to work with pre-compositions and masks, how to render a video, how to use keyframes, transform, scale, rotation, how to stabilize a clip with the tracker and the warp stabilizer and TONS of other tips and tricks to master the program!

Who is Emeric’s Timelapse?

Hi there, I am Emeric, a 30-year-old French filmmaker and timelapse photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. I have been shooting timelapse videos for almost 10 years now and I love it! I travel all around the United States to shoot cityscape timelapse and hyperlapse videos. I have captured some of the biggest American cities like Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas and a lot more.

I have worked with companies like the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Netflix, Facebook, Adobe, LG, Google, OPPO to name a few. I am a brand ambassador for the gear company Syrp and music licensing website Epidemic Sound.

I went viral with my SpaceX Falcon 9 timelapse a couple of years ago and some of my timelapse work is part of a documentary included in the Oscars 2022 shortlist.

Welcome to my new After Effects course!
